Cage thickness?

Ok I have a JD Squared Bender that has specs for thickness of tubing VS bending radious and most are .095 as thinest tube before kinking. This is for mild steel tubing though what about chromoly I know it is stronger so what can I bend thickness wise that is as strong as .095 and is DOM able to be bent thinner as well without kinking? Or is there a rule of thumb? Thanks rob.

I dont know crap ha ha, but I can say that all my reading says .095 DOM is fine for building a cage. I think .083 is mim in moly but .095 is required for main bars.

We do cages out of DOM or Mild with the important bars in .120 wall and others in .095. Chromoly is good but more brittle than DOM or Mild. If you are doing chromoly use atleast .095.

I have 1" tube and 1 1/2" tube thats it. 1 3/4 is $318.00 for it. I have to see if it's worth the money to invest and build or just go get it done at Evol1. I talked to Andy yesterday right after Bruce left I guess.

Is your bender a JD Squared? Or JMR? Or are the dies interchangable?
