Yamaha Safety Repair Notice

Any of you guys getting the Safety Repair notice from Yamaha on the Rhinos where they want to install spacers on the rear wheels and remove the Anti-Sway bar? I am real reluctant to have the sway bar removed. I think I am going to pass on the free repair and if I want spacers I will do them myself. Can also get a coupon for $100 towards a helmet if you go to the dealer and watch a video and fill out some paper. I think I would rather sit through a time share sale.

Local RideNow (screwyounow) dealer told my buddy that they will not do the repair work on any Rhino that is not stock. He has BRP Sidewinder bars & reverse offset ITP wheels in the rear, and they said he would have to put the stock doors, wheels, & tires back on before they would repair it. And they would not let him watch the video for the helmet coupon unless the repairs were done first.

Last time I was at the local dealer up here (Victorville) they don't even have any parts yet and that was 3 weeks ago.

Take that swaybar off or at least disconect it and give it a try, I love it without mind on.

Well I guess to improve vehicle and help reduce the chance of rollover, they figured that they needed to install a spacer on the rear wheels as well as the removal of the anti-sway bar.

if you get the repair done you can keep the sway bar... that is per yamaha... mine has 4 seater cage... but depending on who you go to I hear some places will do it anyway..... took the sway bar off and I get a really bad lean... trying to adjust the stock shocks~~ not sure if I like sway bar off
