Rugged Radio vs. CDI, HID and Seats

I really would like to get the Rugged Radio set up. I currently have an SSV stereo so I don't need it for music but more for communication with the passenger and also eventually Car to Car unless I'm convinced I should get the car to car sooner rather then later I also need to get an upgraded CDI, HID lights, and new seats?

So I'm trying to decide do I go with the HID's, CDI and seats or Rugged Radio?

Sell me on the Rugged Radio...I just think that it would be really cool to have

Seats are nice but the peace of mind with the radio over powers the keester.

Communication the the rest of the pack or call out to anybody you can reach for help is a great thing.

i would be happy with just my radios.I've gotten sooo much stuff lately, but all i care about is playing with my radios. Being able to talk to my passenger without yelling. Not getting lost from the other people in my group now that we are able to tell each other whats going on. The other cool thing is with the headsets on it eliminates all the background noise. No more earaches for me.
I'll deal with a sore bumm.

I would go with the Car to Car, your going to need it to find out where every body went because without that CDI your going to be in the Back and Lost lol

Still leaning towards the radios. I figure I could at least here what was going on up front while I sit in the back and wait for the dust to clear.

But if I were to get the CDI and HID's is there much of a difference in CDI's and I know there is a buch of different HID's out there. I would want to just replace the stock headlights with some. Any preferences out there on CDI's and HID's?

What a trip I have the slim ballast ones that he sells. I like them and they work pretty good. Every once in awhile when I turn them on only one comes on I turn them off and then I'm good to go only happ. A few times. All in all and killer deal and I would def buy them again !

at SSSS we got the rugged radio intercom system X4 seater with the IPOD and etc... that way I can talk with our son and niece and for temporary we got a patch cord for our car to car system using our motorola talk abouts... we will get the good radios later~ at least we will be able to talk to each other... it's X2 rhinos~ and X2 radios

well, narrow it down -
do you need more speed or are you content with your top speed now ?
if your content, get the radio - you'll love it.
if you want more speed, get the sheave and cdi - they are cheaper than the radio, and then save up for it.
To me, the radio was like long travel - after getting it, I don't know how I survived without it.

Was given an upgraded CDI So I went ahead and bought the Intercom and car to car. So far it's awesome. Went out to the Newberry Springs area for Thanksgiving and didn't have anyone really to use the car to car with. Came across one other group that had radios so I was able to briefly tryout the car to car seemed like I need to play with that a bit. Any suggestions on where to mount the antenna?

I mounted mine on my Alum roof if you don't have that you can get a tab welded or a clamp on bracket !
