JWS... question re Johnson Valley where it says all ATV's must wear helmets (does that include RHINOS, RZR & TRX etc???), what are the fees? and is it easy access for our motorhome and 25 ft trailer??? thanks

You do not have to wear helmets in SxS's - just on bikes and quads.
there are no fees to camp at JV.

Like I posted earlier, you won't have any problems out there with the moho/trailer.

I like to go in off Boone Rd just past Means Dry lake bed, the road use to be a washboard but I beleive it was all redone last year.

X2 Bruce, Boone road has some good riding with very little rocks.

JV is MoHo friendly and there are no fees for camping. I like Cougar Buttes area myself. Makes for a great ride to Giant Rock and back Bessemer mine road is pretty chitty washboard but I do like camping up by the rock pile just takes a while going in. Havent camped off boone but Ive herd it was graded pretty good last year? I know Ive herd stories of it being pretty torn up in years past.

I heard that bessemer mine rd has been recently graded too and the drive into soggy dry lake is pretty good now.
