Hard starting Rhino 660

When my 2007 660 had been idle for a couple of weeks (plz, no comments about me not using it enough) the fuel will have drained back to the tank. Starting it becomes a major problem most easily solved by pulling the shroud and manually (suck & blow) forcing fuel into the line by pulling the vacuum line,etc. There are no apparent leaks, cracks etc in the vacuum line and suction can be felt at the carb base when cranking. I had it to the dealer but they didn't keep it long enough for the fuel to drain back so didn't see a problem. There is no reasonable way to keep it started on a regular basis and so it has to sit for long periods. It seems to me that it ought to self prime even after sitting w/o having to go through what I've been doing. Dealer says the fuel pump is OK but I have doubts. Anyone else see this problem? What to do? New fuel pump?

Mine will do it to if I dont start it every couple weeks. The pump seems to loose its prime and its a bitch to get it started.

Ive herd of people using a primer bulb like they use on small outboards...........

we put the alba high volume fule pump and after 3 weeks it fired right up...so my guess is try a high volume fuel pump should help out~~ not sure of another product good luck

This has been plaguing the rhino for the entire time it has been out. I wondered about for a while and when I asked our new mechanic about he quickly answered the gas in carb evaporates and it takes a minute to get fuel back in carb.

I never thought about it evaporating and that would explain not having fuel in bowl, no way for it to get back out of the bowl except for evaporation.
