We have an AZ whip and two LiveWires.
Totall agree with you on the AZ brightness...not enough LED's.
But the girl wanted it because the LED's light up-and-down in a moving pattern. It looks pretty cool. Haven't had any issues with it, but her quad is mostly a camp quad.
The LiveWire tube seems to be a bit heavier, feels more substantial and a bit higher quality to me.
I also like the LiveWire quick disconnect mount a lot better, it's a much heavier, higher quality piece and what we got with the AZ whip.
