Car to Car Radio, Push to talk?

Anyone running a car to car radio know if there is some thing other then a push to talk button to mount on the steering wheel?

I find it rather hard to push that button while ripping around on the trails; seems if that everytime I need to talk i'm in the middle of a turn or blasting through a woop out section and I cant find that dam little button.

I am looking into getting a 4 headset system. I already have a race wired Kenwood radio and now looking into different in car comm setups. Most have voice activated between headsets, not sure if you can get voice activated to broadcast. Might be able to use the old school high beam style floor switch to broadcast, but I don't know if that would be any easier than the bottom on the wheel. Who has in car comm, any feedback on good and bad systems??

Sorry VOX only on intercom and CAR to CAR is Via a two way Radio and is PTT switch controlled (Mic or Switch) you really don't want be constantly transmitting with a two way, the radio gets hot and besides its SIMPLEX, you talk..un key... they they talk... ETC... In order to have a full duplex system you would need to TX on one FREQ and RX on another and it will involve having 2 radios or a dual bander.

we are investigating our options... we are trying to do car to car and intercom... we want car to car (already got a push to talk radio) we need headphones and wiring for that we can put inside the headphones (for push to talk)... and then be able to use the same head phones for intercom (not sure what all is needed for the intercom unit~~ not sure if we can make it work as one unit.... I like the your suggestions

sorry I hijacked you Bruce
