Mammoth Lakes RZR trip pics

Here are a few pix from my Mammoth Lakes trip... logged about 140 miles of RZR riding and will slap together a video but need some time to edit all the footage down to 5-10 mins. There are some great trails... I went from Mammoth to June Lake a couple times and once from Mammoth to Laurel Lake.

Yes it is legal to ride. The ranger station will give you an OHV map. There are hundreds of miles of trails. I think I logged 140 miles of riding on various trails. If you dry camp I would go to Glass Creek (its free). If you want hook ups go to Mammoth Mountain RV Park but you can not drive the SXS out of the park and must haul it to the trail head.

I'd go for the dry camp if I can unload and ride from the spot? I really would like to go up this summer maybe Labor Day weekend? How is th road to the spot you suggest? Would a 35' fifth wheel make it?

I just was checking out the sat. view and access, it is close to the highway and looks easy to get to. I just showed the wife and she is receptive. Does anyone know what it is like during the holiday weekend? I have kids that start school in mid Aug. so I would like to go for a 3 dayer or more since it's a drive. Also can we Rhino to good fishing? I haven't been fishing for 3 years (It sucks)! This has me excited!
