Checkin' in

Met a guy while riding dirt bikes with my daughter in Miller Canyon. Bob was his name, suggested I ought to check out your site! Maybe go slummin! (We have a rzr ...but heck! meet the nicest people on Rhinos! Lots of friends with them)

Looked at my odometer on the rzr and we are close to 4k on the clock. Not a kind mile on the thing. Been riding around a bit, might even have a thing or two to contribute.
We do a lot of riding at Ocotillo, Randsburg/Spangler area, occasional J-Valley and Stoddard, Utah (Moab, Paiute trail, Fishlake, Bryce and Arapeen trails) and Mammoth. Also hit Sedona, Quartzsite and El Mirage. Most of our riding is long distance and we usually camp.

Hope to see you guys out there

Chuck

RZRJeff - it's OK

I almost always carry a tow strap to help them get over the tougher obstacles and stuff. Things like speed holes, rocks, speed bumps ..etc.

You are in Tustin - where do you ride most?

Me? I don't hate rhinos

Some of the best vehicles out there! Great at stuff like
firewood collection, trash runs, carrying beer and gear ....
You just gotta be ....patient

I've got a buddy with a rhino who occasionally brings his buddy. The buddy of my buddy is slippery fast with his friend's rhino. .. we do the slot canyons in Ocotillo and he's pretty close behind me. Makes for a spirited ride. He's pretty quick with the beers too ... especially other peoples' !

Rhino's a good vehicle with no top end.

Of course a rzr's a vehicle with no top end also ... until we fixed the filter probs on the early models!

easy there big boy, I suspect there is more then one Rhino here that will make you think twice about them being slow.

Sounds fun

"easy there big boy, I suspect there is more then one Rhino here that will make you think twice about them being slow."

We're up for it! As long as the scenery's good and the company interesting and decent we don't mind eating a little dust. (or crow)

Bob - if I remember right you have an "equine" hotel to camp out of ?

Yep, the "Equine Hotel". I wish I could call it the "Love Shack", but I'm married with children.

The Rzr fits perfect in the Equine Hotel. The hotel is fully self-contained and always ready to roll (if my wife is not using it). Only down side it getting the smell of the Rzr tires

Chuck, you sure know how to make new friends fast. lol

I must say the rhino is the most dependable farm implements on the trail. All kidding aside rhinos just don't break down. Unless you put Bruce and Mike in one. Then it's get out the tow strap.

I've broke my rhino several times, but have never been towed back to camp - limped back under its own power each time.
I carry a tow strap because we run across kawi's and rzr's out there that aren't so lucky
