my sis is in the process of buying a home... they submitted the offer on Friday morning... the sellers realtor refused to accept the lenders qualification letter... and is demanding copies of their bank statements and their FICO scores... she refused and her lender sent an updated approval letter indicating that she has reviewed the bank statements and confirms that the buyer has sufficient funds in cash reserve to complete the sales transaction at the offering price... WTF??? how is that legal for the realtor to refuse to submit the offer because she is unwilling to disclose her FICO score and bank statement.... as of this evening the sellers realtor is still making the demands and said they will not submit the offer without the requested info

I have a realestate license but do not sell. I can honestly say the other realtor is doing wrong for their client. Most of the time if you have a preapproval letter, that is sufficient and and a check for good faith.

thanks that is what I thought... they submitted the offer, good faith money and a loan approval letter~~ wonder if it is illegal to withhold the submission of the offer???
