Family Bash in the Desert

Being somewhat new to the site and having only met a few of you on the ride last Saturday at Miller Canyon I don't want to step on any toes but I did want to extend an invite to an event that the Charity I Co-Founded is putting on at North Glamis KOA Nov. 6th thru the 8th. The date is the part about not stepping on any toes. Unfortunately we already had the event planned prior to me seeing the group organizing a ride at Superstiion for the same date. Having said that I do apologize for the double booking and I hope there are enough people available that weekend to make both events successful.

A little about our charity

We started Extreme Sports Charity as a fun way to raise money for the average person who suffered a lose or injury due to a recreational acitivity. There were plenty of groups out there helping the professionals who suffered the same fate but there weren't many helping the guy who went out riding for the weekend with his family and suffered an injury. That's where we come in. Also everyone does a golf tournament, casino night or silent auction. We wanted to raise money by holding the type of events the people we are trying to help enjoy. Which leads us to the event at North Glamis.

About the event

I don't need to go to much into North Glamis KOA due to the fact that so much has been posted about it. All you need to know is it's awesome and Cal who owns it it's great and really caters to us off roaders. For the event he is giving one night of the camping fees for every site to the charity. He is also helping us organize a poker run and a vendor row.(spaces still available to anyone interested). We are working on a few other things to do while you are out there and I will post them as we ink them.

Again sorry for the double booking but I hope some of you can make it out and support the charity.

P.S. Now you know why I don't post much. I don't know how to make it short and to the point.

Hey guys, also new to your site, my buddy Brian just told me about your forum. I am the other Co-Founder of Extreme Sports Charity and I wanted to thank you guys for considering coming out to our event. Some of you met Brian last weekend up in Miller Canyon...for those of you that didn't he's a pretty funny guy, but looks aren't everything!

The fact that he actually knew how to register and become a member of this site is amazing in it itself...you should see his cell phone...really! Anyway, I wanted to post a copy of our flyer to the event in North Glamis since Brian could not figure how to hit the "attach" button.

Hope to see you all out there ~

If you have any questions about participating as a vendor feel free to call me 951.757.9521 anything else non-technical you can call (don't email) Brian 951.852.4845
